HOAF provided emergency food assistance for the flood victims in Doolow, Somalia 2020

Thousands fled their homes due to flash and devastating floods in Somalia. According to local authority in Doolow, more than 1,200 farms had been inundated and crops covering an estimated 12,000 hectares of farmlands had been destroyed, impacting people’s livelihoods.

HOAF response:
HOAF is in the ground in Jubaland state of Somalia and addressing some of the calamitous disasters caused by the floods.

So far, HOAF assisted more than 123 displaced families in Doolow district with one months survival ration, composed of Sugar, Wheat Flour, Rice, and Cooking oil.
