On 12 February 2017 Hounslow Jamia Masjid organised a one day collection fundraiser for HOAF charity aiming to help provide relief for drought and famine in the horn of Africa.
Mr Omar, a trustee at the Horn of Africa Foundation praised the kind gesture of the board members of the Hounslow Jamia Masjid and the members of the community. HOAF relies on the donations of members of the public and Organisations such as Hounslow Jamia Masjid.
